Privacy policy

What we collect

Your profile (goal, body measurements, calorie and protein targets), the meals, water and supplements you log, and your plans and shopping lists. If you connect Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android), the data types you approve. We collect anonymous crash reports and usage statistics to improve the app.

Where it is stored

By default your data is stored on your device. If you turn on sync, it is encrypted in transit and stored on our servers so you can restore it on a new phone.

What we never do

We never sell personal data and never use your health data for advertising.

Payments

Subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card details.

Your rights

You can export or delete your data at any time from the app or by emailing hello@thefitchefapp.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you have the rights given by the GDPR, including access, correction, deletion and portability.
